General Notes: Based on definitions provided by HUD, "unsheltered homeless individuals" refer to people whose primary nighttime residence is a public or private place not designated for, or ordinarily used as, a regular sleeping accommodation for people (for example, the streets, vehicles, or parks) and who are not part of a family with children during their homelessness. Individuals may be homeless as single adults, unaccompanied youth, or in multiple-adult or multiple-child households.
