* Updates for this datas series are not available starting in 2014 because the Census Bureau has discontinued collection for all 3-year ACS estimates. No new 3-year estimates will be produced. However, ACS 3-year estimates published prior to 2014 will remain available to data users.
Data series provided due to popular demand considered of low reliability overall due to sampling error; use with great caution and see note flags on individual data points. Most of the year-to-year variation may be due to sampling error; even the national total has a plus/minus of 0.1%. The Census Bureau does not yet to publish an official count of same-sex married couples on a local level; revisions to the American Community Survey to improve data collection in this area are being tested.
